99 Degress |
 |
99 Degrees, released in 2002, features
Stephan on vocals and guitar and "Fresh" Tom Roesch on bass
and backing vocals. The fine drumming of Stewart Nyren, and
the powerhouse keyboards of Danny "Pianny" Sturner complete
the tight sound, which has garnered much local, national and
international airplay on Blues playlists. Recorded in Pioneer
Square, Seattle, 99 Degrees was featured on Marlee Walker's
Blues-To-Do Top 25 List of 2002.

3 J's |
 |
The 3Js was recorded in Berkeley,
California and released in 2003. It brings together some of
the finest R&B talent from Seattle and the San Francisco
Bay Area. Featuring the "reunion" of John Firmin,
AKA Johnny Nocturne, top-flight tenor and baritone saxophones,
John Lee's signature bass and vocals, and John Stephan, slide
guitar and vocals. The 3Js all came of age musically during
the classic R&B era in sixties Anchorage, Alaska. Its many
original compositions reflect R&B, Rock, and Blues influences
of that time. Henry Salvia, keyboard wizard, and Ron E. Beck,
R&B groove master drummer, completes the tight sound.
